My understanding is that Content Writing for your web sites need to be done keeping in mind the following guidelines :-
1. 5-7% keyword proximity with contextual relativity.
2. Semantic header selection keeping hierarchical importance preferably through html5 mark-ups.
3. Proper usage of bullets and numbered list with color-scheme icons.
4. 'F' Shape visualization of
every page content is a must.
5. Language must be lucid and directly addressing the visitors.
6. As I feel "Content is king", every now and then the content should be refreshed with originally re-written content.
