Project Description:
I need a simple scraping script written in PHP to scrape data from any page on Backpage.com and then do the following with the data scraped:1) Take the title, description and photos (if they exist).
2) Turn the info into a file which could be easily uploaded and added to MySQL
3) Upload the photos for each post into a folder.
4) Insert the above information into a mySQL database
Essentially I want to be able to scrape the complete post and put it into my mysql database.
I used a FREE PHP script from http://open-classifieds.com/ to build the site. You can check out the site to get a better idea of how my site works. In fact you can download the script for free if you like.
