WARNING!! DO NOT HIRE THIS DEVELOPER!! This developer PHPWEBGURU is not a guru at all! He accepted my job on a Saturday and said it would be completed Monday so I waited even though he quoted 1 day in his bid. So now it is Monday (Day 2) and and still no progress. So I wait some more. It is now Wednesday (Day 4) and he states I have been working on the site please login and take a look it will be complete in a couple hours. So I log in and he edited 1 file and after looking at the file all he did was comment out some code and write a poorly coded line that did not even work the way it was supposed too. It is now Thursday (Day 5) and guess what still nothing! No RESPONSE from him or any changes to my site. He also never communicated any of this to me, I had to request updates! He is now holding $40.00 of my monies in Escrow and I have to file a dispute to get my money back to now hire another developer. WARNING!! DO NOT HIRE THIS DEVELOPER!!

Joomla 2.5 or 3.0 website for life coaching business

Highly unprofessional. My project was due 11/12/12 and it is now 11/17/12. The site is still incomplete. Each day past the deadline, I have asked when the site will be complete. The answer is always "tomorrow". I awarded the bid based on a specific deadline that I emphasized must be met. I uploaded the site design instructions during the bidding process to avoid confusion. This afternoon, I contacted him and he had me view his status. The only thing completed was the HOME page (for a 7 page website). The format was incorrect, there was only 1 photo, no hyperlinks, incomplete menus, etc. I thought it was a bad joke. He told me to allow him a "few" more hours to get it done. That was 9 hours ago, with no change in the sites appearance. I've made a formal complaint and asked for a refund. I'm having someone else complete the site. DO NOT MAKE ANY PAYMENTS UP FRONT. Award at your own risk. This has been a horribly disappointing experience.
