I am commissioning a music video for an original modern string quartet piece dedicated to war victims. This contest is for a finished music video only — no graphic design-only or still-image entries will be awarded. Requirements: The video must include paintings (or painted-style motion art) that reflect and express the experience of war victims. All artwork used must be original or fully licensed by the submitter. Do not use existing, copyrighted artworks from other artists (e.g., Banksy) or any material you do not own the rights to. Submissions should be a complex, developed concept inspired by the reference video I provided (reference may be used as inspiration only). The video must be synchronized with the rhythm and pacing of the music and should demonstrate thoughtful editing and musicality. I am looking for passionate, unique creative perspectives that respectfully align with the subject matter. You are allowed to use AI, but if it looks like it has been created solely off of prompts, then I can do that myself so you will not be awarded. I want creative, mostly original work. Do NOT submit: Graphic design or still images only (no video content). Black-and-white videos. 2D non-moving art (static images without motion/video treatment). Videos that are out of sync with the music’s rhythm and pace. Any use of copyrighted paintings or artworks without permission. Additional: Include a brief artist statement explaining your creative approach and confirming that all artwork/music rights are cleared. I am happy to answer questions and provide the music file and reference video to serious entrants. Thank you — I look forward to thoughtful, original submissions that honor the theme.
