Additional information:

The Icon is needed in two versions:

1) Small status icon without frame and with transparent background, this will be displayed on the androif status bar on the top when a new message arrived.

2) Pushbutton Icon the Homescreen on the phone (Apple Style square) like it you did already.

The layout design should be optimized on the screen dimensions of 320 x 480, so it can easily scale up (if you design for larger resolutions, your buttons or icons may look too small when it scales down).

Should your file be a PSD (Photoshop format), please separate out the background, or any overlapping images, into distinct layers.

For all other formats, you can leave it as-is, and we will handle the conversion on our end.

Additional information:

the icon needs to be very clean and simple like #6
#61 and #71 are nice ideas but too complex for small size
The icon will also be displayed in the small status bar of the phone when a new message comes in and the status bar is quite tiny.
Don't fall in love with rainbows, I don't really like them
