Contest Brief

We need a compelling logo for the SchistoShield(R) vaccine. The vaccine should help millions affected by the parasitic worm, Schistosoma; both Schistosoma mansoni and Schistosoma japonicum species would be affected. We want to show that the vaccine is a "shield" against the worm infection; that is it protects people and animals from being affected by the worm. The logo should be simple but powerful in communicating a vaccine and it's shielding effects. Fewer colors are better. I've included a picture of the worm, but no need to use any of the elements in the picture.
