A quick Google shows Serepton featuring on any freelancer competition site worth shaking a pencil at but not having a web presence of their own...

I see everyone is still waiting on this lamo contest. The contest holder probably "printscreened' the design he liked and had a print shop print it off for a 1/10th of the cost. Wouldn't be the first time. My suggestion would be to look up this company every so often and see if their logo has changed and if you recognize it, then sue their ass and be done with it.

Well It has to be some protection for designers as well, why a contest holder can be protected of getting a bad quality design or something else and we as designers can not. It has to be some protection for us as well. If someone places a contest first of all money has to be guaranteed from the beginning, and second of all it can't be putted on hold for an unlimited period of time, or for each day of pending the CH gets penalization like adding an % to the contest money. Lets say max 7-10 of pending and after % to the amount. Otherwise this web site looses its reputation, and designers eventually will give up and the good ones will move to other place and here will remain only lame ones :).

I sent an email to customer service and they indicated that the customer can take as long as he wants to decide. So I have come to the conclusion that it is time to show Freelancer that without the designers (good ones) that they don't have a business. While all of the freelance sites have their flaws, 99designs appears to care just as much about their designers as they do their customers......so kudos to 99designs.com

You are right sevenbros, freelancer should give some time limit to contetholder max 10 days or something, if they dont answer for some reason they should pick the winner automatically.

For a guaranteed contest, and a contest holder that would appear to have a good reputation with a number of previously completed projects, this is certainly a bit of a disappointment.
Communication seems to be a big issue on Freelancer, surely there should be a way to send private messages or at least reminders to contest holders...- 12 Jahre zuvor
