Contest Brief

DO NOT SUBMIT AI GARBAGE, IT WILL NOT EVEN BE CONSIDERED, all entries require a rough sketch and then my approval.

I need a striking, print-ready illustrated artwork (not clipart or generic heraldic assets) for a premium tempered-glass mousepad that also works as a statement piece in a gaming or productivity setup. The central focus should be a detailed medieval knight as the main subject — fully illustrated armour, realistic textures, and strong character presence. The scene should feel like a cohesive piece of commissioned fantasy artwork, not a logo, crest, or background collage.

I have added some files for inspiration. DO NOT COPY THEM EXACTLY THEY ARE ONLY FOR INSPO.
Furthermore, The artworks need to actually look like human made art not like AI slop.

The style should sit between minimalist composition and high-detail illustration, with strong use of negative space, but the composition should be landscape-driven rather than centered. The knight should be placed within a broader environment (e.g., a battlefield, open plain, misty valley, or windswept terrain) so the scene feels dynamic and grounded in space, with the knight acting as the focal point within the environment rather than occupying the centre of the frame. Depth, lighting, and atmospheric storytelling should guide attention naturally toward the knight. Supporting medieval elements such as subtle battlefield atmosphere, worn armour details, and faint distant structures can be included to reinforce setting and scale, but avoid repetitive castle silhouettes, generic shields, or decorative crest patterns. No religious iconography.

Colour direction should be controlled but vibrant — rich tones that print well under glass, with strong contrast and clarity without neon intensity. The piece must remain visually sharp and readable at close range, with high-detail textures and professional illustration finish.

Deliverables
• One high-resolution print-ready file (minimum 300 DPI) sized 420 mm × 490 mm (+3 mm bleed)
• Editable source file (layered PSD or AI) for minor colour adjustments
• Flattened proof versions in RGB and CMYK for print approval

I will provide exact colour targets after an initial sketch. The goal is a refined, cinematic medieval knight illustration with modern composition suited to a premium desktop setup.
