I need a logo for my homecare company, "Friend Next Door." The design should feature an image of a hand reaching out to help, accompanied by the company name. My own crude attempts are attached as an indicator of my style tastes. I am open to creative ideas, but I would like to stay quite close to the spirit of these examples. Requirements: - Preferred Color scheme: Navy (#2C4F6E) and white - Optional additional palette mist: '#D5E2ED', linen: '#EDE4D5', steel: '#7191AD', brass: '#987F56' - Minimalist style, yet warm and inviting - Should convey care and compassion Ideal skills and experience: - Strong portfolio in minimalist logo design - Ability to create warm, inviting imagery - Experience in the care industry branding is a plus Please include detailed project proposals in your application.

Having seen the many excellent options, the overall concept I am liking best is a logo with a stylized, but still simple border with a hand arranged palm up with a very simplified roof and window floating above. Dozens of entries had something like this, and I thought I would clarify my thinking on it so as to not waste anyone's time. I will provide more detailed feedback to a few designers individually.
