DO NOT USE CORNERS I’d like your help creating a fully-detailed design for a modern outdoor BBQ kitchen built primarily from stone. The stone top is made from Taj Mahal Quartzite eg https://www.wk.com.au/details/Natural-Stone/Taj-Mahal-Champagne-Honed-Quartzite/2821 The space must seamlessly integrate a dedicated grill station, an under-mount sink, and ample storage cabinets while maintaining a clean, contemporary aesthetic that pairs well with the rest of my balcony. The shape is not simple and straight forward, see the PDF for the measurements Scope The project goes beyond a simple sketch—I need a complete design package that a contractor can follow without guesswork. Flow, ergonomics, weather resistance, and easy maintenance are all priorities, so material selections, clear dimensions, and utility runs (gas, water, electrical) should be called out in the plans. Preferred tools are SketchUp, AutoCAD or similar BIM/CAD software; high-quality 3D renders created in 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, or an equivalent package will help me visualize finishes and nighttime lighting. Deliverables • Scaled 2D layout with plan and elevations • 3D model with photorealistic renders (day & night) • Material and fixtures schedule specifying stone type, countertop, appliances, hardware, and lighting • Construction-ready drawings highlighting foundations, utility connections, and any required clearances Acceptance Criteria 1. All three components—grill station, sink, and storage—are placed logically with at least 36 inches of counter space on each side of the grill. 2. Stone cladding and countertop details are fully annotated. 3. Plans align with standard building codes for outdoor kitchens in terms of ventilation, drainage, and load-bearing requirements. 4. Final files delivered in both editable (DWG/SKP) and PDF formats. Once these items are approved, the project will be considered complete and ready for the contractor to price and build. I’m happy to answer any site-specific questions up front to keep revisions to a minimum.

It is disappointing to see AI entries receiving 3-4 star ratings in a professional design contest. Professional architectural rendering takes significant time and technical skill. Rewarding shortcuts discourages real designers from submitting genuine, buildable outdoor kitchen layouts.

I think you need to specify the units for the measurements ... I'd rather not assume. You are also missing the first leg measurement. Are the thin black lines on the tile floor taped down (I see what looks like a roll of black tape near the cleaning tub)? Finally, there is a facet and is that an electrical outlet around the corner from it? Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
