Book Cover Design for Wedding Anniversary Journal (Premium, Minimalist, Gold Foil Ready)
Project Description:
I am looking for a talented designer to create a premium book cover for a wedding anniversary journal.
Book Title:
"Unser gemeinsamer Weg"
Subtitle:
"Ein Erinnerungsbuch für unsere Hochzeitstage"
Design Direction:
The cover should feel elegant, emotional, and timeless. The style should be minimalist but high-end, suitable as a meaningful gift for couples.
Key Design Elements:
- A clean and minimalist layout (no clutter, no busy illustrations)
- Subtle, elegant floral elements (not too detailed or filigree)
- Nice to have: intertwined wedding rings as a central symbol
- Optional: A symbolic representation of a “path” or “journey” (e.g. a soft curved line or abstract path element)
- No people, no couples, no church or religious elements (must be inclusive for all types of couples)
Color Direction:
Preferred: beige or soft rose background
Alternative options welcome: sage green, dark green or neutral tones
Gold elements should be included (designed for gold foil embossing)
IMPORTANT – Print & Foil Requirements:
- The design must be suitable for gold foil stamping
- Please Avoid very thin lines or overly detailed elements
- Typography must be clear and strong enough for embossing
- No gradients in areas intended for foil
- Provide a version in pure black (for foil production)
Typography:
- Elegant but readable fonts
- Script font for the title is welcome, but not too thin
- Subtitle should be clearly legible and slightly more prominent than usual
Overall Feel:
- Premium, calm, emotional
- Modern but timeless
- Suitable for gifting
Deliverables:
Print-ready file (PDF)
Editable source file (e.g. InDesign or Photoshop)
Black version for foil stamping
CMYK color mode
