  ***DEMANDING EXPLANATIONS FOR CERTAIN MARKINGS*** Sorry to question the reviewers. But after seeing Mr. Rajan's marks i couldn't but arise some points. As per the rules of the contest the topic theme was " Diseases and Diagnostics " , but in Mr. Rajan's article no discussions on the disease (i.e. Diabetes) or the diagnostic is found. Secondly, Mr. Rajan has posted only two replies, so how do you give the 5marks for the mixing of article and reply? If i am wrong please make me understand. Thank you.

     Thanks Bharat! Well, you will always remain on Hall of Fame for being the winner of 1st edition of BioWrit! You definitely have some really nice writing skills. We might have some part-time position to offer you in future!
     
     And about the image: Yes, please share the snapshot/picture of that image at our email id. We need to ensure that there is no copyright violation while creating your design. If it is acceptable, you will get an extra mark for that too.
     
     And, we acknowledge your point of thought, but in a general context, no style of writing should over-power the 'interest-quotient' of the write-up. We did give you the above par marks for nice technical content, but that ended up compromising on interest factor (to some extent). It was a joint opinion of all reviewers....But as we said, it was a nice effort!

     Participants have put some good effort. Though the number of entries were limited, but whatever entries were submitted, deserve some appreciation. The winner might get the huge sum against a couple of posts, but a token of appreciation would help in keeping the spirits of other good writers too. Hence the decision. The gift(s) might not be huge, but they should be good enough to cheer up the runners ups. Best wishes!

     Appreciate your honesty, but the rating here is overall of all factors (i.e an indicative of your standing w.r.t other candidates). And overall rating by the editor is one of the criteria. Our editor is non-life sciences person, so he sort of acts as a layman reader to the posts.
     If you observe it well, the marks awarded by the Editor have also been summed up into the total awarded marks. There are separate and independent judges for other criteria. Average marks from all judges are reflected in each award of marks in each criterion.

Kindly make whatever new posts or modifications you wish to make before the deadline/ contest closure. Any changes after contest closure won't be taken into account for awarding the marks. A back-up of the Disease and Diagnostics section will be taken immediately after Contest Closure and reviews will be made based on that back-up status.
