Kurzbeschreibung des Wettbewerbs

We require a unique, custom logo designed for a new technology, communication platform. And when we say unique we expect you to think about the design, not just Google community logos and make modifications to the results.

MyHood is an Australian-owned, private communications platform connecting neighbours and like-minded people with each other, local businesses, safety alerts and movements that matter.

MyHood asks local people and businesses what they want from their neighbourhood, but also, what they’re prepared to give. Our goal is to build values-centric communities – on and offline - that care about safety, wellbeing, environmental sustainability and economic prosperity.

It all starts with a bit of clever technology, designed to connect people in the same hood (read: neighbourhood), on common ground.

Logo brief
We want two logo versions:
1. One that is a single brandmark, sans words.
2. One that is combination of the brandmark, inclusive of the words MyHood. We are open to portrait and landscape versions, with the words running together as upper and lower case, i.e. MyHood.
3. Each entrant is asked to submit at least three versions for review.

Colour:
1. We are open to colour variations, as the brand toolkit and broader company aesthetics will be based on the logo direction.
2. The target audience is unisex of all ages – so please ensure the design direction reflects this.

Typeface:
1. Prefer something clean and modern; thin style; without serifs.
2. Very open to font customisation, so please experiment!

We want the design to reflect both functionality and values underpinning the website. In summary, this includes:
1. A sense of community, connection and togetherness.
2. A place for values-centric communication, aiming to promote safety, wellbeing, environmental sustainability and economic prosperity.
3. We are local, and always will be local.
4. We are a tech company, facilitating community, so this also needs to be a consideration.

* We require ALL source files and any custom fonts used.
* We will own all IP and designs you will not be able to be used in other designs.
