I have a Siemens IOT2040 already running Node-RED and two flow-meters that expose their readings over Modbus registers. I need a clean flow that polls those two devices, keeps the register map exactly as it is, and republishes the same data over Modbus TCP so a Crimson-based PLC on the other side can read it without extra parsing or scaling. There is no data pre-processing involved: whatever the meters expose is what the Crimson PLC must see. All I’m after is a reliable bridge with tidy, documented Node-RED nodes and comments so future edits are easy.
