Your remit is threefold: keep tight control of project costs, track and report progress against programme, and handle day-to-day contract administration with the main contractor and specialist trades. I have an upcoming infrastructure project and need a precise material-based quantity takeoff so I can lock in vendors early. The scope covers every major discipline on the drawings—concrete and steel for the super- and sub-structure, all earthwork and aggregate requirements, plus piping and electrical runs. You will work from the issued IFC drawings (PDF/DWG) and provide a clearly organised Bill of Quantities.
