The objective is to simply succesfully initialize and show a video output on a specific VR-type MIPI DSI display of which the full datasheet will be provided. The display requires a specific initialization procedure that includes DCS and Manufacturer commands. The display can be used in both 4x2 data lanes or 4x1 data lanes by using Vesa DSC compression. The latter shall be used and a compression layer shall be included in the pipeline.
