2D Animated Music Video Production

I’m ready to turn my new song into a fully-realised 2D animated video that captures its sad, emotional tone. The track is already mastered and runs just under four minutes. I have a clear story concept mapped out scene-by-scene, including key visual motifs and transitions; what I need now is a skilled animator who can translate that vision to screen with expressive characters, atmospheric backgrounds, and smooth, on-beat motion. Here’s how I see the collaboration working: I will share the audio, lyric sheet, and my annotated storyboard. You refine the storyboard into polished animatics, lock timing with the music, and then move through layout, rough animation, clean-up, colouring, and compositing. I’m aiming for a hand-drawn look—think subtle line work, muted palettes, and cinematic camera moves that heighten the melancholy mood.
