I run a YouTube channel where I break down ideas and stories, and now I want to punctuate each video with brief, manga-inspired 2D line-art animations. Everything will be produced digitally, so tools such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or Clip Studio Paint are perfect fits. Scope The pieces will mix light character interactions with clear explainer visuals—think characters talking, pointing, reacting, while diagrams or on-screen text pop in beside them. No existing assets are in place; you’ll design original characters, props, and simple backgrounds from scratch, staying true to a clean, black-and-white comic aesthetic with occasional spot color for emphasis. Deliverables • Concept art for each main character (front, side, three-quarter) • Style-consistent prop and background sheets where needed • Storyboard/animatic for sign-off before full animation • Final digital 2D animations, supplied as transparent-background MOV/PNG sequences ready to drop into 1080p videos • Source files (layered PSD/CLIP or project files) for future tweaks Acceptance Criteria Animations must flow at least 24 fps, match the agreed storyboard, keep line weight consistent, and synchronize to the provided voice-over or script cues with accurate timing. I plan to order several shorts in batches, so a smooth, repeatable workflow will be appreciated once the first pieces are approved.
