Electrical Designer for Power and Industrial Projects

We are seeking an Electrical Designer to support power and industrial projects through the development of detailed electrical models and drawings. This role is ideal for hands-on designers and drafters—not engineers—who enjoy working in a collaborative, design-focused environment. Responsibilities Create 3D electrical models, layouts, and construction drawings for power and industrial facilities Design and coordinate raceway, grounding, and lighting systems Ensure designs comply with NEC codes and project standards Review and check models for accuracy, coordination, and constructability Collaborate closely with engineering and project teams to support design execution Revise and update drawings as projects evolve Qualifications 5+ years of experience in electrical design or drafting Experience using SmartPlant 3D, MicroStation, and AutoCAD Working knowledge of NEC requirements Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design standards Ability to work effectively within a team-based design environment
