Glass Modern Reception Desk Design

Our office entrance needs a striking, modern touch, and the centerpiece will be a glass-front reception desk. I already have the overall footprint of the lobby; what I need from you is a full design package that translates the modern aesthetic into practical drawings I can hand straight to my local fabricator. Here’s what will make this project a success for me: • Concept sketches that show how the desk anchors the space and channels a clean, minimalist look. • Detailed technical drawings (plan, elevation, sections) with precise dimensions, glass thickness, hardware, and cable-management routing. • A simple 3D render or two that lets stakeholders visualize the finished desk in our lobby lighting. • A short material specification sheet listing glass type, edge treatments, support structure (steel or hidden framing), and recommended finishes for any framing elements. I am keeping the layout focused, so there’s no seating area or digital displays at this stage; however, the design should allow those elements to be integrated later without a full redesign. All files must be delivered in PDF for review and DWG (or compatible) for the fabricator. Once we agree on the concept, I’d like one round of revisions included to fine-tune details.
