I’m redesigning the handle on my current speargun so it feels more natural in the water and allows longer, steadier shots. The single goal is an ergonomic upgrade focused on the overall shape—think sculpted lines that sit comfortably in the palm rather than simply adding texture or extra attachments. Here’s how I see the job flowing: you’ll study photos and basic measurements of the existing handle that I’ll provide, model a new profile that distributes pressure evenly during recoil, and deliver a 3-D file ready for printing or CNC milling (STEP or STL is fine). If you prefer to prototype first, I can arrange test fits and give feedback before we lock the final geometry. Acceptance criteria • CAD file reflects my supplied mounting points and trigger clearance. • Grip contour allows a relaxed wrist angle at full extension. • Edges are radiused enough for bare-hand comfort without sacrificing control. Experience with product design for marine or sporting gear is ideal. Familiarity with Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar tools will make collaboration smoother, but I’m open to whichever platform you’re most efficient with.
