I need an experienced SolidWorks designer to take my hand-drawn and dimensional sketches of a small mechanical component and turn them into production-ready CAD files. The end goal is full-scale manufacturing, so every radius, tolerance, and thread must be modeled exactly as called out in my notes. The workflow I have in mind is straightforward: model the part in SolidWorks, verify fit and function with simple motion checks, then generate a clean STEP file that my CNC supplier can import directly into Mastercam. If you prefer to create tool-paths yourself, I’m open to that as well, but the STEP file is the only mandatory deliverable. To keep things moving, I’ll share reference photos, critical dimensions, and any GD&T requirements during our kickoff. I’m happy to jump on a quick call to clarify intent before you start. Turnaround within a few days would be ideal; accuracy and manufacturability come first. Deliverables • Native SolidWorks file (.sldprt / .sldasm if assemblies) • Final STEP file ready for CNC programming • Short PDF drawing with key dimensions and tolerances (optional but appreciated) If this sounds like a quick win for you, let’s get started.
