TWIMC, Providing this solution with an Access Database would be a bad idea. If there are any connections to the database, the .mdb file becomes locked and cannot be deleted, or overwritten if desired. Which means, you can't manipulate the data locally then upload a new mdb file without of course re-booting the server. What we propose instead is delivering the data to the website via Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL. We would then create an access database with linked tables via ODBC (that you run on your desktop) from which you can manually update data on the server in real-time if need be. On the website, we propose a calendar control to select a date, then have the available conference rooms and times appear, to see the day as a whole, so the person can see what's available at what time and adjust a meeting accordingly. also allowing the user to schedule an appointment on the spot would be desireable, i'd imagine.
