Academic Health, Medical, Business, and Pharma Writers

Please note: Completion of a test is required for consideration of this position. We pay a nominal fee for the test which will be added to your first project payment when you join our team. The test may not be in your area of expertise, but that is ok as you will require the ability to learn new skills as part of this role. I run a successful professional writing service and am looking for seasoned writers and researchers to join my team. You will need experience in working on both small (500 words to 3000 words) and large projects (about 20,000 words) to a publishable standard, such as:  Dossiers  Whitepapers  Business Reports  Literature reviews  Best practice guidance  Articles  Blogs  Interview integration into text Additional skills required include:  Referencing skills – the work is highly evidence-based  Investigative and research skills – you will need to dig deep into various topics  Strong communication and interpersonal skills – you will be required to collaborate and work closely with other members of the team, including Quality Control (QC)  Exceptional comprehension skills  Detail-orientation and the ability to adhere to job descriptions  Initiative and originality – any plagiarism will result in immediate dismissal  Reliability – we need projects completed on time to ensure we provide a high quality of service to our customers Ideally, you will have knowledge of the following or willingness and ability to make yourself an expert in these areas:  The pharmaceutical and life sciences industry (more the business and patient side, rather than drugs-based)  Medical Writing  Business and marketing terminology  Academic writing experience is a real plus. Payment ranges from £13 to £16 per 1000 words depending on your 'tier' - writers are tiered according to their quality. Larger projects can be £20 per 1000 words once fully trained.
