We need someone to create software which can drip feed serial code to the arduinoATmega using the USB on the go connector from a small android computer. We have already verified that this can work using demo software created by another programmer, however, this project will be separate from theirs because the hardware is different.
In order to get the system working we will send you an android ICS tablet which you can keep as a gift.
1- Ideally you will help us select the tablet or android based on certain features (such as USB independent of computer charging source)
2- You will likely need to modify firmware to eliminate some foreign software (it should be made to look 100% english)
3- You may find you need to redownload or enable fully function features, like access to USB, root access, app store, and firmware capabilities etc
4- You will need to test the a program/controller to ensure that it can communicate two-ways with the arduino over USB.
5- You will need to make a single APP that controls serial based on our specifications - it will be a VERY simply app overall, just a control screen (setup like terminal services/telnet for TTL) and a few buttons plus a position grid
6- The above system must be made to function as a single file that can be used flashed all the changes you made to new units
7- If you are capable of making a 3D (such as openGL) representation of a 3D data file, that is a major plus, then please increase your bid but let us know that you are providing this extra value/service. As an example, this software does what we needed at this step: [login to view URL]
