CGI, Motion Graphics, After Effects for Short Film

BACKGROUND I am producing/directing a 4 minute short film that takes place at an electronic music festival in a carnival, amusement park setting. Think Avicci meets Moulin Rouge. The video requires CGI, motion graphics, and after effects blended in with live footage. Some films that inspire many of our scenes and effects are Big Fish 2003, Alice in Wonderland 2010, and Scott Pilgrim vs the World 2010. ASSIGNMENT I need a CGI, motion graphics, animation, after effects wizard. Specific examples of things we'll need: - tinkerbell darts into screen and guides characters through a scene - floating door appears in middle of road, characters walk through it, they tumble out the other end in a new location - a bunch of popcorn floats perfectly still in the air around characters as they pluck them from the air and eat them - fireballs, laser rays, explosions, fireworks - shrinking person scene like alice in wonderland - underwater scene WHO I'M LOOKING FOR Technical skills, creativity, availability, and responsiveness are very important to me. I produce many videos so if things go well, ideally this would be the first of many projects. If you bid, please ensure you have the adequate amount of time and resources necessary to devote. HOW TO BID Read this entire project description carefully. Since we are still in preproduction, the precise scenes and effects requirements are still work in progress. Hence we are bidding this project out with an hourly rate rather than a packaged project rate. When submitting your bid, provide links to just a few specific examples of your work that are relevant to my project. Please do not send a laundry list of 20 links. TIMING Once project is initiated, there will be a day of information exchange when we upload files and notes to you. Then a brainstorming call to go through everything, discuss ideas, set timeline, and establish check-in points. The entire project, from start to finish will be within 3-4 weeks. OWNERSHIP OF DELIVERABLE The deliverables and work product resulting from this project will be owned free and clear by me.
