I am wanting to design a program that will allow me to simply type the name of a song that is on my computer and it will automatically load and play on what ever default media player I have. I have only had two classes on C++ programming, so I'm still relatively new. Anything that I've written has been done using Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 Enterprise Edition, and all programs have been Win32 Console Applications. I have written a couple programs dealing with strings, and one program I've used the WinExec() command to launch [login to view URL] or explorer.exe. I tried using the same command to open a .mp3 file; I then found out that wasn't going to work, even after I put the .mp3 file into the Windows System32 folder. So, what I'm wondering is how to go about launching a file that is not an .exe. Is there a simple way? Or am I diving way in over my head?
## Deliverables
I just need a little help with some code
## Platform
I'm using Windows XP.
