HEALTHY EYES, HEALTHY VISION
Our eyes is like a camera granted by nature. It is important to prevent vision problems before they have a chance to develop. Most of the eye diseases are associated with aging. As we age, our body muscles start to degenerate, so the eyes.
Consuming sufficient vitamins like vitamin A is essential for prevention. An adequate supply of mineral will be beneficial. Diets rich in omega-3 fatty acid foods also help with dry eyes. To protect the eyes from sun exposure, your sunglasses must have 100 percent UV protection. Young adults should have a complete eye exam at least once between the ages of 20 and 29. People age 65 and over should have complete eye exams every one to two years to check for cataracts, glaucoma, age related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and other eye conditions.
Taking steps to prevent injuries, getting regular eye exams, and getting prompt medical attention can help preserve your sight. Your vision is precious.
