Do some data entry

I have a data analysis task. My project is doing statistical analysis/research report using STATA version 14. My topic is whether giving schools more funds increases students performance on standardized tests. I have to run regressions using the variables I chose. I am not too familiar with how to choose the correct variables for this project. I know that we need to have a dependent variable, independent variables, and dummy variables. We also have to look for confounding factors. I already wrote a proposal and I am currently awaiting the approval from the professor. I'm also having trouble gathering the data for my analysis. I'm attaching a copy of my proposal, power points from the professor, commands we used for STATA practice, and anything relevant to the project. I have about 3 weeks to turn it in, but I would like to consistently keep in touch to make sure everything is going smoothly. I would also like to get the data you gather so that I may run it in class so the professor sees I'm working on the project. If you have any questions or need more information or clarification, please let me know. I also need help finding the data.
