.CSV file converter application
Application requirements:
To convert a group of .csv files automatically from the source folder and then create converted files into the destination folder by a windows application.
Source folder: Contains a group of raw .csv files
Destination folder: Contains the converted .csv files
How the user can control the conversion process:
A) File conversion process:
The user will use an Excel macro function to record down the conversion process first and then all files in the Source folder will use the same conversion process to create the new .csv files and save them into the Destination folder.
B) File name conversion process:
The user will choose how the new file name format will become.
e.g. the original file name format in the source folder is: “[login to view URL]”
then the user can convert to any other characters or remain the original characters in the file name, like
***[login to view URL]
->then all file names will become like this format: [login to view URL]
e.g. the original file names format is: “123_w”
*.Xw
->then all files names will become like this format: 123Xw
C) once the file conversion settings and the file name conversion setting is done, the application can run automatically by executing a .exe file., and the user only need to run the .exe file again to repeat the whole process.
Only experienced programmers with track records here need to bid. The application must be fully tested and debugged. All source code must be open. Please do not use closed .dll or modules that cannot be inspected. Good skills in VB, and/C, C++ expected, best if written in C, C++ to improve the speed of the application. Payment is by milestones.- basic screen shots - finished application - user acceptance test.
