I have a Perl Script that is around 400 lines of code, including blank lines and comments, so probably only about 300 actual lines of code. I need it to be rewritten in C - no just converted using a Perl to C converter, actually rewritten from scratch using the required C libraries where needed for things like access the PostgreSQL database.
The script is currently called by Asterisk as an AGI script, it then checks several things within a database and either places a call, or hangs up. That is the basic functionality of the script, but as we need to run multiple instances of this at the same time, we need it to be much faster than it currently is. Hence wanting it written in C.
I have attached the Perl script here for your review and understanding BEFORE you bid.
We will require the source code and details of any libraries we will need to install on our Linux server for the newly written C program to successfully compile.
You must be able to code this to work on a linux OS - not Windows!
Any questions, please PM me and don't ask on the public message boards. Thank you.
