Analysis of Work Unit:
1. The exact experiment to be simulated should be understood - which crystal, polarizer used, their peculiar characteristics e.g. refractive index of the material, polarization angle taken into account for simulation, properties of crystal (non-isotropic), etc. I have studied thoroughly the propagation of light waves (celestial radio waves) through anisotropic space plasmas (e.g. solar wind), so can take the simulation to various levels of accuracies needed, as a continuation of the same work later.
2. Once the analysis of requirement is agreed on both the sides with expectations set with benchmarks, the next phase of software development will be started immediately.
3. Depending on the complexity, and future scalability requirements, software design, development, testing and deployment shall be completed in an Agile software development approach.
