Upgrade Directx engine

Hello there, What version of DirectX is the game using? Must be very old/legacy versions of DX. Anyway, I offer C++ DirectX engineering services, and have plenty of R&D experience in C++, but I need to see how much of the code needs to be updated/upgraded to DX 9, first.
