Content Creator - Media Release Wizz & Optimized Social Media

A communications agency is looking for a content writer, specifically for media releases, social media content and web copy. Developing and delivering interesting and engaging news copy to strict deadlines; as well as innovative content across diverse media channels such as social and digital. RESPONSIBILITIES: Generate content for multiple channels - written content for media releases, social media and web copy; Identify and initiate new ideas for creative and engaging content; Edit, revise and proof-read existing content and assist with other digital marketing activities as required; Create optimized content, written in the right ‘language’ for SEO; Output focused. PREREQUISITES & SKILLS: Native English speaker Bachelor’s Degree in communications, journalism, marketing or like; Strong experience in content creation & copywriting (2 years min); Can write quickly and accurately, as well as with creative flair; Can create content to brief on short timeframes and meet deadlines; Possess a creative mind / capable of devising creative approaches to audience engagement; Some photography/ Videography skills, great eye for creating a story through images - highly regarded; High level of attention to detail; Possess a tenacious and efficient work ethic with ability for excellent workload prioritisation, and time-management; Be able to work productively with little supervision; PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: Good communication skills; Enthusiastic, driven and looking for a high degree of job satisfaction; Innovative and pro-active; Creative with an eye for detail. Looking for someone who is knowledgeable in the field and has fast turnaround time. This is role has the potential to grow into an ongoing relationship, working across multiple projects. You must be available during Australian working hours (AEST) and be comfortable working on projects for food and alcoholic beverages.
