Compounding spread sheet

I start with a specific number. Lets say 1557. I then have 5 steps which will be 5 different columns in excel which add up to 1557. The first step starts at 27 the second step 63, the 3rd 157.5, 4th 382.5 and the 5th 927. So if we add all the steps up it will equal 1557. Each Step will equal 70% of that number. EG 27 = 70% of 27= 18.9 Step 2 70% of 63=44.1 ect. When the first step is deducted from the specific number, the second steps 70% must equal greater then the specific number, by the first steps 70%. EG: Specific number is 1557, first step is 27. 1557 - 27 = 1530. So now the second steps 70 % must equal greater then 1557 by the first steps 70% (70 of 27=18.9) which is 1557 + 18.9 = 1575.9. If the first step is deducted from the specific number and the second step is deducted from the specific number then the 3rd step must equal greater then the specific number by the original first steps 70% amount. EG: specific number = 1557 - first step (27) - second step (63) = 1467 so now the 3rd steps 70% must equal the same as the first steps 70%. So now the sum should equal 1575.9. This must happen for all the steps 1-5 I want to be able to simply input the specific number and all the steps show up straight away. I would like it to show the Step number, how much eg 27 for first step and what that step equal from 70% (18.9) all the way to step 5. It could look something like this on Excel: Specific number: 1557 Step1 Step 2 Step 3........ ..................Step5 27=18.8 63= 44.1 So to clarify all the steps have to add up to 1557 or what ever specific number I choose to input. Each Step has to have a 70% value If step 1 is deducted then step 2's 70% has to add to step 1's 70% + 1557 (specific number) If step 1,2,3,4 is deducted then step 5 has to add to step 1's 70% + 1557 (specific number) Simple
