We are looking for a candidate to help with data scraping and data entry for one of our bespoke software solutions. This role involves extracting information from multiple PDF files (each PDF file comprises 100s of pages) and putting that data into an Excel spread sheet in a format we specify. Additional data cleaning/reviewing needs to be done once each Excel spread sheet is completed, so good attention to detail is required. A protocol is in place for the entire process, so the ideal candidate will only need to possess advanced Excel skills, have a positive can-do attitude and be willing to learn. The ideal candidate: 1. Possesses advanced Excel skills, with a good knowledge of Excel (keyboard) shortcuts 2. Is comfortable working with Macros in Excel 3. Is open to learning about Excel Add-ons (knowledge of the “ASAP” add on is a bonus, but not essential) 4. Has excellent attention to detail 5. Is happy to work on a repetitive task 6. Has a scientific background (this is a bonus, but not essential) 7. Is able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines 8. Possess good communication (verbal and written) and time-management/planning skills
