Design of noise cancelling machine housing
There is an inner and outer housing. The inner housing sits in the outer housing. Both the inner and outer housing are of 6mm thick galvanized steel. The steel plates are not welded but screwed together in noise tight fashion (else they get too heavy to transport and carry before assembly). The steel plates should be in one piece to the extent that none of them is heavier than 50 kg. As they will be heavier you need to make some of them in more than one piece. Both the inner and outer housing have a door. Rubber seals are to keep the doors noise tight. We need to be able to open the outer and then the inner door to get to the inside of the inner housing. There need to be four punch throughs (round holes) which go through the inner and outer housings. These holes are to be of 210mm in diameter. The holes must be positioned in the side walls near the top. Exact positions I will still define. In addition, there needs to be one punch through of around 10mm in diameter near the lower end of the housings to pull through some electric wires.
The inside measurements of the inner and outer housing are as follows:
Inner housing:
Depth: 500 mm
Width 1300 mm
Height 2000 mm
Door (centered, upright): 1200 x 650 mm
Outer housing: so that there is a space of approx. 20 mm between inner and outer housing. Door slightly bigger than of inner housing. Note that the height of the outer housing incl. wheels must not exceed 2050 mm.
The inner housing will be screwed to the bottom plate of the outer housing with vibration dampening rubber mounts.
Trolley wheels are to be under the outer housing so that it can be moved around. They need to be reasonably strong (or numerous) as the whole construction will be very heavy. As the maximum height of the entire outer housing must not exceed 2050 mm, the wheels must in fact not be mounted below but on the side of the outer housing.
I need construction drawings of the housings including a parts list and measurements of each part, suitable for the manufacturer. Also I need a 3d drawing of the entire construction. All drawings are to be submitted as .dxf as well as pdf files (one PDF).
Please provide links to websites where the trolley wheels, rubber seals and rubber mounts can be ordered for shipping into Switzerland and where specifications of these can be found.
Also I need an estimation of the total weight of the whole construction.
The design of the whole construction needs to be so that manufacturing is as cheap and easy as possible.
If possible please calculate the noise reduction (DBA) to be expected as measured from the outside if noise is emitted in the inner housing, ignoring the punch throughs. Please state in your bid whether you are able to do that.
