I have Orcad Cadence 17.2 but I don't know whether it simulates a micrcontroller or not. I can design 7 Segment Display based digital clock with alarm using PIC micrcontroller. I will use mikroC PRO PIC Compiler and Proteus Simulator. If you are interested then you can contact me at jayanthd2k12(at)gmail(dot)com I have a few digital clock projects ready. If you email me then I will show you them. I will not design PCB layout. You can get it designed by someone else. I will provide only detailed circuit and micrcontroller code. You have option to buy either firmware or C code. If you buy only firmware then it will cost you 200 USD and if you buy code it will cost you 500 USD. A single PIC18F26K22 micrcontroller can drive the 7 Segment Displays. It is better to use a 28 pin MCU for the Clock instead of using a dozen digital ICs.
