Summary
We need the services of someone to create a macro/automation that takes inputs from various tables in a sheet and fills in various calculation sheets from templates then summarises outputs of each calculation sheet into a summary sheet.
Process of use
1) Fill in data input sheet with sound power levels and room criteria
2) Use macro button which generates all calculation sheets and output sheet
3) User will fill in specific details on each template sheet based on job specific data (not to be automated)
4) Once initial calculation sheets and output sheet is generated they need to reference back to input sheet so that user can change names or data which auto update generated sheets. If new rows are added to input sheet the existing sheets should not regenerate and only news one will be created.
Further Information
There are 4 potential calculation sheets:
Supply – atmosphere (SU-AT)
Extract – atmosphere (EX-AT)
Supply – Jobside (SU-JS)
Extract – Jobside (EX-JS)
The calculations are for noise in ductwork. The inputs, provided in the input sheet will be:
Sound power levels (an array of 8 values)
Reverberation time – in jobside calculations (array of 8 values)
Room noise criteria – NR level – integer between 10-50 that fills in an array of 8 values through a lookup table
Room volume
The last three parameters should be set through drop down boxes which reference the inputs sheet so these may be changed later on.
The output of each calculation sheet is an array of 8 values – insertion loss required which should be copied into a summary sheet in the same format as the input sound power levels table.
We would also like the sheets to be dynamically named based on the calculation in the three name format:
AHU# – SU/EX – AT/JS e.g. AHU2-SU-JS
We will be updating the calculations several times over a period of years so there should also be another macro that can update the calculation sheet based on edits to the input tables. We are open to suggestions as to the best way to do this.
