• Compile, verify accuracy and enter information according to priorities to prepare source data for automation and eventual product sale. • Utilize internet research to properly and accurately find and document product information into spreadsheets and data bases to allow for integration into external platforms. • With minimal supervision, utilizing Microsoft Excel to quickly and accurately record data for inclusion in product database. • Take, edit, and upload pictures of parts into the online parts catalog. • Review data for deficiencies, omissions, data errors and correct any incompatibilities research and find missing data and ensure completeness of information. • Research and obtain further information for incomplete data to include independent research on the internet, within the warehouse or with our vendors to ensure that all required information is properly updated and available in the database. • Apply data compilation techniques and procedures are documented and repeatable on an ongoing basis. • Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations • Describe and document product characteristics to include take pictures of products where applicable to ensure that they are sold in a timely manner. • Keep information confidential • Respond to queries for information and access relevant files • Comply with data integrity and security policies • Other projects as assigned.
