I have the following research hypothesis:
The influence of the (independent variable) has been inversely proportional to the levels of development in countries of Europe and the Americas.
Tasks:
1. Adapt the current dataset to a QCA output.
2. The independent variable, needs to be calibrated considering 10 factors (variables) included in the dataset.
3. The dependent variable "development" needs to be unified in a single index out of 4 indicators of development.
4. A Model for QCA:
The model I propose to work on is something like this:
Dependent variable (y) / Outcome: Development variables of a country (Competitiveness, Transparency, Security)
Independent variables (x) / Causal Conditions: Theories of development, (Environment, culture, religion, etc.). (to do: necessary and sufficient analysis where the outcome is present)
