Design A Masthead For A Newspaper

I am needing to have a Masthead made for a private newspaper that I am working on. The Masthead needs to have some critical features into it's design. 1. It must fit into the 1880's time period of the "Old West" 2. It needs to appear 100% authentic in it's appearance as if it was created and printed using the old time "engraved" mastheads of the time period of 1880's. 3. The quality and detail must be "Excellent", showing detail as if it was actually created with an original engraved plate. 4. The size must be 10" wide x 3" high or 10" wide x 3.5" high, some flexibility on height is allowable depending upon the design. 5. All artwork is to be in Greyscale. This will be printed on modern newspaper presses, using CMYK process. Keep small text (12pt or under) or areas of fine detail to pure black (100%K). The requested work on this masthead is to be published for a 11" x 17" newspaper in 300 dpi artwork. The Name of the paper will be: The Tombstone Report Design creativity is high important and only those bidders who can provide details in prior art or examples will be considered for this project. I have attached some samples of previous Masthead's of newspapers in the requested time period, but they are only rough examples. Please don't copy any of these designs as to assuming this is what I am looking for. I am wanting an entirely unique design for this Masthead and will require someone to do some research as to it's time period and proper look, along with my guidance as to the appropriate look. Some of the required themes that must be incorporated into the graphics for the Masthead: 1. Showing a depiction of a miner, such as a old gold miner with a gold pan or gold pick, or an old mining cart with rails. 2. Possibly a cowboy on or walking with a horse. 3. A rifle and or pistol of the correct time period. 4. An old time steam engine train, correct for the time period. 5. A woman or women in a petticoat in the proper attire for the time period.
