Functionality Changes • Integrate myCred plugin with the downvote/upvote options in the used theme. Upvote button should add points to content author’s account and the downvote button should similarly deduct points. Proper notifications or the voting through the plugin Ultimate Member should be displayed. The format would be something like, “Username(with profile pic) upvoted your post(post thumbnail)” and when the notification is clicked, it should redirect to the concerned post. This has to be implemented everywhere the voting icons from the theme appear and wherever they are asked to be implemented. The theme creates pages like “Trending” and “Top 10” based on the vote count. It basically sorts pages based on the total votes they get. This functionality should not be altered and the myCRED functionality should be built upon this option. • A similar solution is to be implemented with the wpDiscuz plugin. The vote/upvote section of the plugin should integrate with myCRED and add/deduct points for every upvote/downvote on comments with proper notifications through Ultimate Member plugin. • Ability to preview a post before a user can submit it. Allow users to delete their own submitted posts and report posts from other users. • The theme has an option to submit videos through the submit post page, but the videos need a featured image to be displayed as a placeholder on the homepage. This featured image has to be manually generated from a third party site using the video URL and this makes posting videos cumbersome. Now there is yet another plugin called Auto Post Thumbnail Pro, it automatically generates post thumbnails, even posts which have video content, a thumbnail is automatically generated from the video and used a featured image in the post. The theme probably uses some custom post type and thus Auto Post Thumbnail Pro cannot create thumbnails out of posts submitted through the theme’s front end post submitter. This plugin has to be configured to generate thumbnails for the posts submitted through the theme’s frontend. • When a user uploads an image which is lengthy it should have a thumbnail automatically cropped and used on the homepage instead of the entire image with a link below to view the full post. For clarification, check [login to view URL] for posts which have a long image. Layout Changes • Ajax Based popup Login/Registration forms like [login to view URL] • GIF image modification on homepage. Currently GIF images autoplay by default on the homepage. This has to be changed to have a “GIF” icon/overlay on top of gif images and they should play only when a user hovers on them and should stop when a user clicks on them. • Multiple CSS and layout changes on the home page, Submit post page and profile page. CSS and layout changes include rearranging content/sections, altering width, height, margins and padding, resizing text etc. Specific changes are not mentioned as they cannot be specified before hand and will come up as the project proceeds. The changes will be strictly UI based and involve altering the frontend. • Mobile version of the site should have a similar layout as [login to view URL] on all mobile devices and at all orientations. The layout incudes the arrangement of the content and menu items and the front end UI.
