I need to have a python script (running on a raspberry pi) do the following:
A) When key A is pressed: Tell android phone, on the same network, to make an outgoing call.
B) When key B is pressed: Tell Android phone, on the same network, to send text message.
C) When key C is pressed: Send Pushover notification
I know that there is software out there like android SMS gateway with html api, etc. I'm looking for solutions that work. They do not have to be original. If software exists on google app store that does all of the above, then I would like the contractor to point me to it and walk me through how best to use it.
The idea is to use an android phone as a telephone/sms output for a linux computer running python.
When I state "Press key A", I mean as a keyboard input for the python script, on the linux computer keyboard. The python script runs semi-headless, The only interaction with user is the A B C button pressing from the keyboard. The phone number dialed/texted is hard-coded into the script, and so is the text message in the sms.
The android device running the phone gateway software does not need to do anything after it places the call, just let it ring, and if user picks up, then hang up within 15 seconds.
The pushover notification is an extra. Not completely necessary.

Hello, There are softwares and even open source ones for what you need. Look at [login to view URL] (you will love it) and Tasker (very cheap 5 dollars). Welcome to the world of IoT. Cheers!
