I prefer you did not use anything that pulls from article directories. FULL RSS feeds from other blogs is fine. WP-robot does this and there is even a way to do this manually without the use of a plugin. After this is installed you will then beign to plugin my adsense/clickbank/amazon accounts and figure out what is the best way to make money with those on the site. Best layout for highest clickthrough and purchases. Each site at the end of one month should average 4.00 per site per day. If not you failed the test.
