Hi,
I can help you with this task. I am Russian by origin and I am currently in Moscow, teaching at a university here.
I spent about 20 years in the international business and I performed similar tasks too many times for my own business before, so I am well familiar how to build the data base of the potential clients and how to contact them.
In CIS countries is it always better to call each company first to find out who is in charge of a particular function, then sending a personalised letter with the information to that person, and letter checking up again.
However, as you may know, a long period of the New Year holidays is approaching in both Russia and Kazakhstan. People will be back to work the 9 January but in reality it means that it would be more effective to contact them starting from 16 January.
Besides, our companies usually want to get exclusive rights for such kind of collaboration, so I wouldn't expect to sign up a large number of companies as your distributors. Such a list of 70 candidates can be useful for the initial screening and selection process, however, finally, you'll have to decide on just one your main agent/ distributor ( or a master franchisee if you work on a franchise model).
Best regards,
Tatiana
