I have much experience in developing high performance scraper bots. I've done this for online content aggregation, as well as other shopping sites. Previously, they collected and organized information into a database for later analysis. This project is different in that the comparison/lookup happens during the crawling process. The software I've already developed runs as a multithread, connection-pooled service. It can crawl many pages per site concurrently and optionally perform text/content extraction and collect images.

I've done scraping on amazon and would love to do ebay now. Seem like you like to do arbitrage... I know how it is to do stock trading. If you dont hire me I will still write it and make it for myself.
