Carpool System

Purpose

• The System allows the Users to logon and search for carpools

based on the routes of the journey.

• Most of the online systems available today for carpools are based

solely on the source of origin and the destination. This systems

allows the user to be specific to the route taken.

Functionality

• The system has 2 types of users i.e. the car owners and the

commuters.

• The car owners can offer a carpool to commuters based on the

origin of the journey and the destination .

• The Commuters can search for a carpool depending on the origin

of the journey and the destination .

• Users are allowed to view the info of other users or else messege

the other users of the system

Platform : Google WebDevelopment toolkit

Languages: JAVA , Action Script , Flex 4.5.

: Eclipse IDE

Database : MySQL 5.5 .
