First, some background on me.
I am statistics professor with a great deal of experience with R (a multi-OS open source software, ), but I mainly use it in a Windows environment. [login to view URL]
Here's what I want bids on, with half of payment at completion steps 1--3 and the rest at completion of step 4.
I would like to get R set up and running under Linux on Amazon EC2, as many others have done, as shown here with step-by-step instructions [login to view URL]
1) I can do this by following the link above, I'd just like a person with Linux and Amazon EC2 to experience guide me through any problems/questions in case they arise.
2) Once that is done, I would need you to configure Apache so that I can run Rapache ([login to view URL]) which is simply a collection of Apache modules that allow R and Apache to talk to one another. I would like documentation of these steps so that I can reproduce the setup if needed.
3) From here, I am planning to use the R package [login to view URL] to run a server-side R script with the output integrated into a web [login to view URL] help I would need here is a bit of javascript & html help to make the page presentable. Below is tutorial demonstrating a simple 'hello world' version of this:

This came from a talk which demonstrates this and more sophisticated examples, the full version here
Successful completion of step 3 would involve me successfully reproducing the 'Hello world' example on my to-be-established amazon ec2 account.
4) I would then expand on the 'hello world' example, by having the user upload a .txt or .csv file which is analyzed by an r script that I have already written and returns a few lines of numbers--NO graphics or plots). To do so I think would involve some javascript , as shown in this talk

Beautiful, but much more complex examples are here:

Please let me know if there are any questions or clarifications needed. Note; you don't need to be proficient in R, I can handle all of that. No knowledge of R is really even needed.
