Creation of Ubuntu Makefile

Hello, I am a programmer and always use makefiles for my projects. I think a Bash install script can do the same job, as the makefile, even better. Can do both.

If I get it right, you need "install:" target for Makefile? It could be separate bash script which called from Makefile, or it could be involved into Makefile, whatever you like... I can make it for you. I'm using Ubuntu 13.04, but I can upgrade it if it is necessary.

Hi, The task requires the following to be performed. 1. Create the shell script to perform the software installations sequentially and copy the configuration files at the specified location. create the zip file for all the software to be installed. 2. The master script needs to perform the automated ftp task to copy the script created above and trigger the script. The script will also copy the installer's zip file. The task #1 will require half day and task#2 takes another half day once all the details are provided. Regards, Rajeev
